Young girl, musically innocent,

you are not Miles Davis

nor John Birks Gillespie.

You are too far from the classic notes

of Maurice Andre and still further

from the high trumpets of swing.

Yet with each clear or muffled sound

you epitomise this Sydney summer,

young girl busking.
